Chasing Rabbits... Yet Again

I'm at my fifth try I think in about three weeks I guess, to watch a movie that I've seen a while ago, but it seems I'm bound to the first 20 minutes. Somewhere between sheer hopefulness and surreal, maybe the movie doesn't want it because it consumed its time allocated to me. In any case, that invariably led to the absence of any review, which certainly would have been more interesting than the current entry.

But since I won't get around to watching the movie, I won't drag this out too long either. The last episode of "chasing rabbits", from what I remember from about two years ago, ventured a bit into a zone of quantum hypotheses. It was during a very turbulent period, enough for the post to be anchored much more solidly than usual in references, compared to the rest of the nonsense in these rare digressions from the blog's theme (one more coming). Either way, I didn't get the chance to delve deeper into the issue back then because the resolution was more brutal, and temporarily effective. However, I was left with a remnant that, in a twist of tired neurons, sparked an idea. But it's neither the case, nor the moment, nor do I have the inclination to lay it out in detail here. Still, in the tradition of the increasingly cryptic posts in the rabbit hunt episodes... a question that is perhaps more important than the rest: what do you do if you know the rabbit you stumble upon is Frank? (No, the movie to rewatch isn't "Donnie Darko"; but beyond this point, it's pretty much for those who know the story).

Let's take the interpretation that there is a point on a timeline when "the hunt resolves," and you pretty much feel "the Frank event" because the touch feels too strong. But to keep a seed of realism, what comes before the rabbit... is still Schrödinger's cat. If you look at it and it doesn't meow, you "catch" Frank 100%. If you look at it and it meows, it scares Frank away, and you get rid of him 100%. The illusion would be that if you stay away from the cat, you stay away from Frank too. But by hypothesis, with the touch you feel, Frank exists somewhere out there and you will intersect... So... how do you know when to check the cat, or to stay in line with the movie, to embrace a jet engine when the opportunity arises :) ? But that's the easy question. Because an instinctive answer might eventually come.

The hard question is another one. Frank is a "natural phenomenon" in his day-to-day existence. What do you do when you've passed Frank, and only realized it afterward? Wormholes aren't on today's terrible list of metaphors. So to get to the airplane engine that can still solve the problem for whoever needs it solved, a different kind of "transport" is needed ;) But let's leave that for another time. Too much "cryptography" today... And Frank is just one of the rabbits, after all. There are others too. So rather, instead of "Mad World"...
